The president said that the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung who selflessly supported and encouraged African countries are widely known among the Burundian people along with his august name.

The DPRK, a country with strong military muscle, all the people of which are united around their leader in single mind is an example to be followed by developing countries, he noted, and went on:

Burundi will have close cooperation with the DPRK in the international arena and develop friendly ties with it in various fields.

The Burundian government and people sincerely wish the Korean people bigger progress in the future, firmly convinced that they will certainly achieve a victory in the accomplishment of their just cause.
