Human Rights Abuses in S. Korea Disclosed

| Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- South Koreans of various organizations including the People's Solidarity for the Repeal of the "National Security Law" held a press conference on Dec. 1 to disclose the fact that human rights abuses are getting serious on charges of violation of the evil "Security Law" in south Korea. The south Korean security authorities restrict the freedom of expression by invoking the "Security Law". At the press conference speakers said that the cases that were charged with the violation of the "Security Law" increased a lot under the present regime. They expressed concern over the ordinance of deleting stories posted on Internet, contending that it was a serious problem violating the basic rights of the people. |
