Kim Jong Il Remembered Abroad

Pyongyang, December 8 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting was held by the Socialist Party of Romania, remembrance meeting, photo exhibition and film show by the Bangladesh Communist Party and by the Socialist Party of Bangladesh, photo exhibitions by the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria and at Pretoria Library of South Africa, and a film show by an Angolan company from Nov. 27 to Dec 1 in commemoration of the third anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's demise. Displayed at the venues of the events were photos showing his undying revolutionary career and feats and wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un. Also on display were those showing the successes registered by soldiers and people of the DPRK in the building of a thriving socialist nation. Films shown included the Korean film "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation". Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, said that the whole life of Kim Jong Il was a brilliant one of a great man dedicated to the Korean revolution and the happiness of the Korean people and to the accomplishment of the cause of world socialism and the cause of global independence. The general secretary of the C.C., the Bangladesh Communist Party and the general secretary of the C.C., the Socialist Party of Bangladesh, praised Kim Jong Il for wisely leading the Korean people in their efforts to build a thriving nation and realize national reunification through his undying Songun leadership. The director of the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria said that the Korean people have held Kim Jong Il in high esteem as their eternal leader and added luster to his feats. The deputy general director of the Angolan company said that Kim Jong Il was a peerless patriot and a genuine people's leader who devoted his all to the prosperity of the country. |
