Kim Jong Un Has Photo Session with Active Servicemen's Families
Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, had a photo session with the participants in the Second Meeting of KPA Exemplary Servicemen's Families.

The meeting marks an important occasion in defending and further glorifying the idea of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu, the idea of attaching importance to the work of servicemen's families, and their undying leadership feats and in improving the above-said work as required by the developing revolution, he said, warmly congratulating its participants on their successful holding of the meeting with high political consciousness and revolutionary zeal.

Our servicemen's wives have grown to be the reliable eldest daughter-in-law of the country and a large contingent of women revolutionaries bearing a part in bolstering up the military strength under the special loving care of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu, he said, adding: The glorious history of our revolutionary armed forces is associated with the unknown merits of servicemen's wives who have obediently devoted their dreams and ideals in the days of their youth and their families' happiness to building up the military strength, regarding the state affairs dearer than family affairs.

And he gave a high appreciation of the servicemen's wives, noting that they are keeping step in mind with their husbands, who are revolutionaries-in-arms standing at the outpost of the class struggle, determined to fight for the Party and the revolution, the country and the people at the risk of their lives, and the closest comrades-in-arms of the Supreme Commander, and taking warm care of soldiers' living on behalf of the Supreme Commander as their real mothers would do.

The Party's trust and expectation in the servicemen's wives is great, he said, expressing the belief that they would take good care of their husbands so that they can devote themselves to their revolutionary work without any worry about housekeeping and would always live and struggle with the same attitude as that of a soldier standing on the frontline. Then he had a photo session with the participants.

Attending the session were Hwang Pyong So, Hyon Yong Chol, So Hong Chan, Pak Yong Sik, Ryom Chol Song and Jo Kyong Chol.
