The Iranian Workers' House in its statement said that Kim Jong Il was a great man recognized by the world and prominent statesman as he devoted his whole life to the sacred cause for the happiness of the Korean people and prosperity of the country, national reunification and global independence.

The statement went on:

He turned the DPRK into a powerful socialist state while frustrating the moves of the U.S. imperialists and their followers to isolate it.

He ushered in a new era of national reunification and performed immortal exploits before the times and history with his energetic leadership.

The Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea in its statement noted that Kim Jong Il comprehensively developed in depth the Juche idea and Songun idea and firmly defended socialism from the moves of the imperialists to stifle the DPRK by pursuing the unique Songun politics.

He turned the DPRK into a political and ideological power with single-mined unity by providing the Songun revolutionary leadership and ushered in a new era of prosperity for building a thriving nation on the land of the country, it stressed.
