Statement of NDC of DPRK Supported by Austrian Organization

Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity Committee of Unionists for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea in Austria issued a statement on Dec. 3 in support of the statement issued by the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK.

The statement said:

We fully support the statement of the NDC of the DPRK.

"Human rights" racket against the DPRK was kicked off by the U.S. imperialists who have still refused to respond to the DPRK's sincere offer of peace negotiations though they have perpetrated grave war crimes.

The U.S. put people to torture while operating secret jails in Guantanamo and European countries and is slapping illegal sanctions against world progressive countries including the DPRK and Cuba to stifle them.

Some member states of the European Union are blindly following the U.S. imperialists' vicious "human rights" racket.

Regretfully, the United Nations passed "resolutions" encroaching upon the sovereignty of its member states, thus violating the UN Charter.

We condemn the "human rights" racket against the DPRK and appeal to the world progressive working peoples to conduct positive activities for solidarity with it.
