They included a seminar on exploits and film show held by the French committee for honoring the memory of leader Kim Jong Il, a remembrance meeting and book exhibition by the Ecuadorian committee for honoring the memory of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il and round-table talks and seminar on exploits by the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru and Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism－Kimjongilism.

Displayed at the venues of the events were works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books dealing with their personalities as great men and books introducing the real picture of Songun Korea.

Participants of the film show watched Korean films documenting the glorious history of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Guy Dupre, vice-chairman of the French committee for honoring the memory of leader Kim Jong Il, and Benoit Quennedey, vice-president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, praised the immortal exploits Kim Jong Il performed by firmly guaranteeing peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and in the rest of the world with his original Songun politics.

Daniel Alvarez Celi, chairman of the Ecuadorian Committee for Supporting Korea's Independent and Peaceful Reunification, said that Kim Jong Il was a prominent thinker and theoretician and great politician who performed great exploits on behalf of humankind with his unique Songun politics, holding aloft the banner of Juche idea, the idea guiding the era of independence.

Genaro Ledesma Izquieta, chairman of the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru who doubles as chairman of the Peruvian committee for honoring the memory of leader Kim Jong Il, stressed that Kim Jong Il's greatest exploit was that he developed the DPRK into an invincible country which is standing firm against the U.S. styling itself the "world's only superpower.
