In September last year the director of the sports department and the head of the sports policy office of the ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism were replaced all of a sudden by others although that time was not a season for personnel reshuffle. It aroused public skepticism at home and abroad.

As regards it, Ryu Jin Ryong, minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, disclosed that the replacement was made at the instructions of Chongwadae and Park Geun Hye, in particular.

His disclosure sparked off a great sensation in the south Korean political camp.

Against this backdrop, the fact that Jong had been locked in a scramble for power against Park Geun Hye's younger brother Park Ji Man in the political camp was disclosed.
