Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- Delegations of political parties and bodies of Uganda, Equatorial Guinea and DR Congo visited the DPRK embassies in their countries on Dec. 2 and 5 in remembrance of leader Kim Jong Il. A joint delegation of the Uganda National Resistance Movement and the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement and the members of the delegation of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea and a delegate of the People's Revolutionary Party of DR Congo laid floral baskets and wreaths before portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and full-length pictures of them standing together and paid tribute to them. Kirunda Kivejinja, senior adviser to the Ugandan president, Henri Masico, department director of the presidency of Uganda, and the chairman of the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement said that it is bitter grief to not only the Korean people but also the Ugandan people that Kim Jong Il, who made tireless efforts for the cause of global independence, passed away so suddenly. Although he passed away, his feats will always be remembered by the Korean people and the African peoples, they said. Under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un, who is successfully carrying forward the cause of the President and Kim Jong Il, the DPRK has held a secure position on the world stage as a space power and nuclear power which no imperialists dare provoke. |
