Acilino Riveiro, national coordinator of the Genuine Democratic Movement of Brazil, said this in a statement issued on Dec. 5 to honor the memory of Kim Jong Il.

He said:

Kim Jong Il considered it as the aim of the revolution to bring into bloom the love for the people.

As he loved the people so much, he pursued benevolent politics without an equal in the world.

One can know through his ceaseless forced march for the field guidance how much he loved his people.

It was Kim Jong Il who made long and difficult journeys for happiness of the people.

He, who boundlessly loved the people and always shared joy and sorrow with them, passed away in a train coach due to the excessive mental and physical stress caused by his ceaseless high-intensity forced march for the building of a thriving nation and the improvement of the standard of people's living.

The Korean people will hold him in high esteem forever and carry his idea and cause through to the end under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
