Rodong Sinmun Snubs Anti-DPRK "Human Rights Resolution"

Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- The National Defence Commission of the DPRK declared in a statement that it categorically denies and rejects the anti-DPRK "human rights resolution" rammed through the UN by the U.S. and its followers and would launch the toughest countermeasure to smash the resolution. The statement is drawing international support and sympathy. Much upset by this, the U.S. and its followers are busy talking rubbish to justify their criminal action. Rodong Sinmun Friday in a commentator's article dismisses their outpourings as a poor excuse as they were a revelation of the fear the crafty tricksters and wicked criminals inevitably feel in face of justice and truth. The article goes on: Their row is aimed at politicizing and internationalizing the non-existing "human rights issue" in the DPRK by abusing the words the "international community" in a bid to hype it and push the situation to an extreme phase. Another aim sought by the U.S. and its followers is to bring down the socialist system in the DPRK, undermine the single-minded unity and provide a legal excuse for invasion of the DPRK. The above-said racket offers the service personnel and people of the DPRK an opportunity to keenly realize once again that the U.S. is a sworn enemy. Now that the U.S. and its followers are working hard to stifle the DPRK at any cost even by abusing the UN, the DPRK will make every possible effort to safeguard the sovereignty, social system and dignity of its supreme leadership. It is a pipedream of the U.S. to try to bring down the social system in the DPRK. This will be proved by DPRK's measures to bolster up its nuclear deterrence. The DPRK's revolutionary armed forces are fully ready to wipe out the criminals with the toughest countermeasures. The world will witness the practical actions through which the DPRK champions truth and makes justice prevail over injustice and emerges victorious. |
