Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- An article written by Korean musician in the U.S. Ri Jun Mu, head of the Uruk Symphony Orchestra, was posted on Minjok Thongsin, internet newspaper of Koreans in the U.S., on Dec. 5 with the approach of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il. The article said that working masses in the north who were faithful to Chairman of the National Defence Commission (NDC) Kim Jong Il recollect with honor the worthwhile years when they were led by him, singing such songs as "Good Health of Dear Leader Represents Our Happiness," "Best Wishes" and "We Believe in You as in Heaven." Kim Jong Il's proposition that music means his first love is the aphorism suggestive of his music-based politics famous in the world, the article said, and went on: Whenever I listen to the famous masterpieces created by him I used to believe that he has the gem-like pure mind. Kim Jong Il was the experienced statesman, great thinker and well-known artiste. Kim Jong Il was the great statesman who pursued music-based politics, the first of its kind in human history. He was the only man who organically integrated songs and politics. He stressed the important role played by music, saying that the victory of the revolution is always in store for the people advancing with songs. The revolutionary struggle means grand symphony of history and the base producing songs and a revolution is always sure to triumph in the place where loud songs resound forth. This is the profound truth taught by the song-based philosophy of Kim Jong Il. The political mode which emanated from the song-based philosophy is the mysterious music-based politics. |
