This year, the Pyongyang Trolley Bus Factory has showed an increase of 1.5 times in the production of trolley bus as compared with last year by applying practical innovations to its production processes.

In this regard, Jong Pu Chan, director of the factory's industrial laboratory, told KCNA:

This year has witnessed scores of technical innovations applied to the factory, which is conducive to economizing on labor and materials.

In particular, it has finished the renovation of motor production process and establishment of auto control system for heat-treatment furnace, thus prolonging the serviceable life of bearings and further reducing the vibration noise of running trolley bus.

Meanwhile, the Pyongyang Fiber-optic Cables Factory has registered a success in producing different sizes of cables by introducing technical achievements in its production, thus making great contribution to the modernization of communications.

All its products fit with quality index.

The factory has paid deep attention to upgrading the technical skills of its employees for increased production of high-quality cables.
