Korean Photo, Book and Fine Art Exhibition Opens in Russia

| Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- A Korean photo, book and fine art exhibition opened at the museum of the history of the youth movement in Ryazan City, Ryazan Region, Russia on Dec. 8 on the occasions of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il, the third anniversary of Marshal Kim Jong Un's assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 97th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk. Displayed at the venue of the exhibition were photos documenting the feats performed by Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un. Also on display were works of the peerless great persons of Mt. Paektu, publications introducing Songun Korea and fine art works associated with the resourcefulness and talents of the Korean people. The vice-minister of Culture and Tourism of the Ryazan Regional Administration said he was very pleased to see the Korean exhibition in the region. The exhibition will offer Russians an opportunity to know better about the history, culture and reality of the DPRK, he noted. The DPRK proud of its brilliant culture will grow stronger under the leadership of HE Kim Jong Un, he added. |
