Reverence for Kim Jong Il is getting deeper with the approach of the anniversary of his demise, the statement said, adding:

His demise was the greatest loss not only to the Korean people who upheld and followed him as the tender-hearted father but to other progressives of the world.

He performed undying feats in all fields of state activities with his rare wisdom and outstanding leadership ability.

He developed the Workers' Party of Korea into the powerful vanguard ranks modeled on the idea of the leader, while foiling all the moves of hostile forces to check the triumphant advance of the revolutionary cause of Juche.

He authored famous works such as "Socialism Is a Science", instilling the conviction in victory of socialism into the world revolutionary people when the imperialists and renegades of socialism trumpeted about the "end of socialism".

The revolutionary cause of Juche started by President Kim Il Sung and led by Kim Jong Il is being successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un.
