The Malaysian paper Guang Ming Daily on Dec. 6 devoted one whole page to an article titled "HE Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people, will always be with the Korean people and other world progressives" illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

Three years have passed since the Korean people lost Kim Jong Il, the father of the nation, so suddenly and so early on Dec. 17, 2011, the article said, and went on:

In this period the Korean people worked hard to translate the plan and desire of Kim Jong Il into reality.

He was, indeed, the great leader trusted and followed by the Korean people as their father.

He was the symbol of the victory of the Korean people and mainstay that helped them overcome all difficulties.

The Mozambican paper Noticias on Dec. 8 carried an article titled "3rd anniversary of demise of HE Kim Jong Il" illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

The paper said:

The Korean people are boundlessly revering Kim Jong Il.

They are holding him in high esteem as the eternal chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.

The feats he performed for the Korean revolution will last forever.
