Rodong Sinmun Ridicules S. Korean Forces' Foolish Daydream
|

Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the third meeting of the "Committee for Preparations for Unification" took place in Chongwadae. The south Korean chief executive present at the meeting ballyhooed about an important duty of the "Committee for Preparations for Unification" and the "human rights in the north." Then she even talked about "post-unification constitution." At the instigation of the chief executive, the puppet group plans to map out a draft of the "charter for unification" within this year and hold a public hearing in the first half of the next year. Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a commentary brands the puppet forces' ruckus as a wanton challenge to the nation's desire for the reunification and a sinister artifice to escalate the confrontation with the compatriots as it is a clear revelation of the criminal scenario for achieving the unification of the social systems. The "charter for unification" touted by the puppet forces is, in a nutshell, aimed to do harm to the social system in the north and realize the ambition for achieving the "unification under liberal democracy," the commentary says, adding: It is unpardonable that the chief executive underlined the need to settle the issue of the "human rights in the north" without fail for the "future of unification." Lurking behind her invective is a sinister aim of the puppet group to justify the anti-DPRK "human rights" campaign with rhetoric about "unification" and more frantically pursue it. The Koreans will never overlook the puppet group's acts of challenging the north's proposal for achieving reunification by federal formula while crying out for the institution of the "charter for unification". The "unification under liberal democracy" persistently sought by the south Korean puppet forces is no more than a foolish daydream that can never come true. They are well advised to wait for stern judgment of the history and the nation, not for dreaming a pipedream becoming a laughing stock at home and abroad. |
