Seminar Held by Korean Social Scientists in Japan

Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- A seminar "Undying Feats and Great Succession" was held by Korean social scientists in Japan at the Korean Press Hall in Tokyo on Dec. 4 on the occasion of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il. It was attended by Han Tong Song, director of the Department for Publicity and Culture of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Ri Yong Su, chairman of the Korean Social Scientists Association in Japan, leading officials of organizations and enterprises of Chongryon, teachers of Korean University under Chongryon and Chongryon officials and other Koreans in Kanto area. Speakers said that Kim Jong Il comprehensively developed in depth the Juche idea and the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and thus glorified them as the great guiding idea and indicated the way for accomplishing the popular masses' cause of independence. They noted that he developed in depth the Juche-based idea of the movement of overseas compatriots and provided the movement of Koreans in Japan with a sure guarantee of winning victory after victory, advancing along the orbit of Juche. He successfully settled the issue of the succession to the leadership, gave a steady continuity to the lineage of the revolutionary cause of Juche and Songun and created the history of the cause of perpetuating the memory of the leader, making sure that the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Il Sung shine for long, they said. Marshal Kim Jong Un is working heart and soul for the country and the nation that were entrusted to him by Kim Jong Il, they pointed out. They underlined the need to firmly defend and glorify the Songun revolutionary leadership feats of Kim Jong Il under the leadership of Kim Jong Un. |
