Speakers said that Kim Jong Il comprehensively developed in depth the Juche idea and the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and thus glorified them as the great guiding idea and indicated the way for accomplishing the popular masses' cause of independence.

They noted that he developed in depth the Juche-based idea of the movement of overseas compatriots and provided the movement of Koreans in Japan with a sure guarantee of winning victory after victory, advancing along the orbit of Juche.

He successfully settled the issue of the succession to the leadership, gave a steady continuity to the lineage of the revolutionary cause of Juche and Songun and created the history of the cause of perpetuating the memory of the leader, making sure that the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Il Sung shine for long, they said.
