What catches visitors' eyes is a train coach Kim Jong Il used during his field guidance for the prosperity of the country and happiness of people.

Even in December Juche 100 (2011), he gave field guidance to South Hamgyong Province. Heavy snowfall, accompanied with icy-cold wind, was witnessed in the province on December 8. But Kim Jong Il spent that night on the running train and toured industrial establishments in Hamhung City on December 9-10, which have played a big role in improving the living standard of people.

He went on his train journey to give field guidance to different units in Jagang Province in the northern part of the country as wells as leading chemical factories in the eastern coastal area.

He made 1 647 rounds of railway trips in his lifetime, covering more than 398,000 kilometers. During the trips, the train coach was his office and living room.

Now the people of the DPRK are recalling with deep emotion the great devotion made by Kim Jong Il for the well-being of people.
