Message from Nigerian President

Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, received a message from Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, president and commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on Nov. 7. The president in the message expressed firm solidarity with Kim Jong Un and the good people of the DPRK on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's demise on behalf of the government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and on his own behalf. The Nigerian people are looking back on the life of total dedication of Kim Jong Il who performed undying feats before the country and history through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities and revolutionary practices, the message said, adding: Availing myself of this opportunity, I would like to express pleasure over the fact that the two countries have developed the bilateral relations on good terms and shared same views on issues of common concern in the international arenas in the past, and hope that such relations would as ever grow stronger onto a new higher stage in all fields. The president paid highest tribute to Kim Jong Il on the occasion and hoped the contact and cooperation between the two peoples would grow stronger. He reaffirmed invariable solidarity with Kim Jong Un and with all the Korean people on the occasion. |
