Oath-Taking Meeting of Officials and Members of Women's Union Held

Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Officials and members of the Democratic Women's Union of Korea (DWUK) held a meeting at the Hall of Women on Tuesday on the occasion of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il. At the meeting they renewed their pledge to hold him in high esteem for all ages and remain true to the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un. All participants observed a moment's silence in memory of Kim Jong Il. Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the C.C., DWUK, made a report to be followed by speeches. The reporter and speakers said that for the past three years since the demise of Kim Jong Il, the greatest loss to the nation, all the service personnel and people have won victories in their struggle inspired by him, always remembering him, the great image of the great Paektusan nation. They referred to the fact that he put the dignity and national power of Kim Il Sung's Korea on the highest level by leading the revolution and construction to victory for several decades and performed undying feats on behalf of the country, nation, times and history. They said that history of the sacred Songun revolutionary leadership of the great Paektusan nation is given steady continuity and everything planned and desired by him is being translated into reality thanks to Marshal Kim Jong Un. They called for eternally holding Kim Jong Il in high esteem and making positive contributions to building a thriving nation, united close around Kim Jong Un. Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and officials and members of the DWUK. |
