The Indonesian paper International Media on Dec. 3 carried an article titled "Third anniversary of demise of Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il", which said:

It has been three years since the demise of Kim Jong Il, the peerless great man.

The three years are characterized by the noble moral sense of obligation displayed by the Korean people who have remained loyal to him, ardently yearning after him.

The Korean people are holding him in high esteem as their eternal leader and adding eternal brilliance to his exploits.

The paper in another article titled "Eternal path of Korean people" introduced that the DPRK is shedding its rays as a socialist nation centered on the popular masses as it has developed on the basis of independence, emerged victorious and demonstrated its dignity by dint of Songun.

The Lao paper Pasason on Dec. 4 carried an article titled "Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il and Korea today."

The article noted:

The DPRK which has dynamically stepped up the building of a thriving nation despite all difficulties under the uplifted banner of Songun would be unthinkable apart from Kim Jong Il.

Marshal Kim Jong Un, who is carrying forward his idea and cause, has wisely led the building of an economic power while bolstering up the defence capability of the country.

It is the strong faith and will of the Korean people to thoroughly carry out the behests of Kim Jong Il.

The Lao paper Vatelao carried a similar article on the same day.
