Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, released a statement titled "Great Comrade Kim Jong Il will be immortal" on Dec. 9. The statement said: Kim Jong Il was born in Mt. Paektu, the sacred mountain of the Korean revolution, and grew up to be the son of the guerilla army and the Korean nation, hearing the gun reports of the grand anti-Japanese war as a lullaby. His life was the one of the great and noble man. He was the peerless Songun brilliant commander who turned the DPRK into a politico-ideological power which achieved the single-minded unity, a military power and a nuclear weapons state that no formidable enemy dares provoke by leading the Korean revolution and the socialist construction to victory with his gifted idea and theories and extraordinary leadership. He was a peerless patriot and benevolent father of the people who unfolded a grand plan for building a thriving nation and made a long journey of the revolution with his boundless love and devotion for the country and people throughout his life. The Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the Korean people are dynamically advancing along the road of independence, Songun and socialism, resolutely foiling the pressure and intervention by the imperialists, united closer around Marshal Kim Jong Un, who is identical to Kim Jong Il in thinking and purpose. The sacred august name of Kim Jong Il and his great exploits will always be remembered not only by the Korean people but also by other world progressives. All the members of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico pay highest tribute to him and hope that the WPK and the Korean people would make fresh innovations and work miracles in the drive for building a thriving nation and achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country, holding aloft the red flag of revolution under the leadership of Kim Jong Un. |
