Kim Jong Il was the tender-hearted father as he further developed in depth the Juche-oriented idea of President Kim Il Sung on the movement of overseas Koreans to give a perfect exposition of all theoretical and practical issues arising in the patriotic movement of Chongryon, clearly indicated the road to be followed by Chongryon with his gifted wisdom and showed all loving care and solicitude for Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan, the letter said.

It noted that he always lives in the hearts of Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan as the defender of destiny and benevolent father as he protected Chongryon and Koreans in Japan and led to victory the movement of Koreans in Japan in the new century till the last moments of his great life.

Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan have advanced to carry out the last instructions of Kim Jong Il by overcoming sorrow over the loss of him and displaying strength and courage for the past three years, it said, adding that in those days of glory and victory they deeply grasped the truth that the revolutionary cause of Juche is sure to triumph and a new heyday will certainly be ushered in the movement of Koreans in Japan as they are led by Kim Jong Un.

It stressed that they will resolutely defend and further glorify the Juche-based idea of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu on the movement of overseas Koreans and their immortal exploits as taught by Kim Jong Un and do all works of Chongryon as intended and desired by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
