The participants went round the venue of the photo exhibition on the theme of "The great Comrade Kim Jong Il will live forever".

Then followed a remembrance meeting.

Paek Ku Son, chairman of the Confederation of Koreans in Far Eastern and Siberian Regions, praised Kim Jong Il as the greatest man, noting that he instilled great conviction and optimism into overseas Koreans.

Kim Jong Il provided two north-south summits and made sure that the historic June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration were adopted, opening a bright prospect for Korea's reunification, he noted.

Kim Jong Il's visit to the Russian Federation marked an occasion in having Koreans in Russia know about the preciousness of the country and make positive efforts for its reunification, he said.

The cause of Kim Jong Il is being successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un, he said, calling upon overseas Koreans to wage a more dynamic struggle for national reunification.
