National Seminar Held in India

Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) -- A national seminar took place in New Delhi, India on Dec. 13 on the occasion of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il. Displayed at the venue of the seminar were photos documenting the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. Also on display there were publications introducing the victorious and glorious history of Songun Korea. Present at the seminar were personages of political, economic and academic circles and media persons and members of the Juche idea study organizations of India and the director general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea. Present there on invitation were the DPRK ambassador to India and staff members of the embassy. The participants observed a moment's silence to the memory of Kim Jong Il. Speeches were made by the chairman of the Delhi Bureau for Rural Development, the director general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, the chairman of the Indian Society for the Study of Works of Kim Jong Il, the chairperson of the Indian Study Group of Songun Politics and other personages. The speakers said that Kim Jong Il passed away but he still leads the Korean people and world progressives to victory with the brilliant rays of the great Juche idea, Songun idea. They praised him as a peerless statesman, iron-willed commander with matchless grit, tender-hearted father of people and staunch defender of the socialist cause. They referred to the undying exploits he performed on behalf of the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence. A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar. |
