The statement accused Park Geun Hye of labeling the lecture given by Sin Un Mi, a Korean professor in the U.S., and Hwang Son, a progressive activist, "activities for following the north aimed at stirring up the social conflict" at a meeting of chief secretaries of Chongwadae held on the same day.

Recalling that she personally branded them as "followers of the north" at a time when the police authorities are now investigating their activities, the statement held that her behavior is aimed at preventing the proper investigation and deter the truth from being probed by dint of power.

It went on:

Worse still, Park did not mention a terrorist act of throwing inflammables when their lecture was under way.

If Park is truly concerned about the social conflict, she should not to check the activities for helping people understand the north properly but sternly punish the violent terrorist.

Park Geun Hye should immediately retract her foolish and unreasonable remarks about the "followers of the north".
