On display at the venue of the meeting were photos documenting the exploits of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were works of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu and publications introducing Songun Korea.

Participated in the meeting were figures of several political parties, organizations and institutions and the masses.

They observed silent tribute in memory of Kim Jong Il.

The president of the university praised Kim Jong Il as the peerless great man recognized by the world, who achieved the undying feats in developing the DPRK into a thriving socialist nation and accomplishing the sacred cause for global independence with his rare ideological and theoretical wisdom and outstanding leadership caliber which nobody can match.

The general chairman of the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia emphasized that Kim Jong Il will be alive forever in the hearts of not only the Korean people but also the Indonesian people, saying that he was a peerless brilliant commander who demonstrated the dignity of the DPRK before the world by holding aloft the banner of Songun.

Messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meeting.

Issued there was a statement of the Indonesian committee for honoring the memory of leader Kim Jong Il.

The statement lauded Kim Jong Il for making immortal contributions to the Korean revolution and cause of global independence and expressed the belief that the Korean people would demonstrate only victory under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
