S. Korean Puppet Constitutional Court's Decision on Disbanding UPP under Fire

| Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- Ri Jong Hui, representative of the south Korean Unified Progressive Party (UPP), held a press conference on Dec. 19 to denounce the puppet constitutional court's decision on disbanding the party, according to the Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea. The present regime disbanded the legitimate political party, Ri, said, saying "democracy was pulled down". The ten odd year-long progressive politics which had been pursued since the Democratic Workers' Party, the predecessor of the UPP, was trampled down by the dictatorial regime, Ri noted. No regime can block the progressive politics, Ri said. The present regime brought south Korea back to the dictatorial era, Ri said, expressing the will to continue the struggle for democracy and peaceful reunification together with the people, not giving up the progressive politics. |
