The Far Eastern Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism of Russia in its statement said:

December 17 this year commemorates the third anniversary of demise of the great Comrade Kim Jong Il.

Even after the collapse of socialism in some countries he firmly defended the sovereignty of the country and victoriously led the Korean people to build a thriving nation, true to the idea and cause of Comrade Kim Il Sung, the eternal President of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Over the past three years we keenly felt once again that Kim Jong Il was indeed the most distinguished leader, and, at the same time, the originality and invincibility of the Songun politics pursued by him.

The Bulgarian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism－Kimjongilism in its statement noted:

The great Comrade Kim Jong Il, who started his work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea on June 19, 1964, further strengthened the party into the staff of the revolution guiding the struggle of the Korean people at the helm.

The Korean people suffered the greatest loss due to demise of Comrade Kim Il Sung, the father of the Korean nation, and were compelled to make the arduous march due to the anti-socialist offensive of the imperialists and the consecutive years of natural disasters but Kim Jong Il firmly defended the sovereignty of the country and socialism by pursuing the original Songun politics.

HeKim Jong Il most perfectly settled the issue of the succession to the revolutionary cause of Juche.

He passed away but he will always be alive in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive mankind.
