Kim Jong Il was the eternal chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.

He made sure that the DPRK demonstrated its dignity as a power with invincible military muscle.

He channeled primary efforts into developing the defence industry, put the self-supporting defence industry of the DPRK on the latest scientific and technological basis, developed militia defence forces into invincible ranks and turned the whole country into an impregnable fortress.

As the DPRK had access to nuclear deterrent to cope with the U.S. reckless threat to mount a preemptive nuclear attack upon it, the era when the U.S. had blackmailed it with nukes ended to creditably ensure peace and security not only on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of Northeast Asia but also in other parts of the world.

The great feats performed by Kim Jong Il will shine forever together with the prosperity of the DPRK.

The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in an article titled "Exploits performed for socialist cause" praised Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary exploits, adding the undying exploits he performed in accomplishing the socialist cause will always be remembered by the progressives.
