Downfall of U.S. Is Historic Necessity: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Joseph Nye, professor at Harvard University in the U.S. who was deeply involved in shaping diplomacy and security policies of the Democratic Party, explained at the recent 7th World Policy Conference that the present geopolitical crises worsened everywhere including the Mideast, Ukraine, Northeast Asia and other places are attributable to the weak strength of the U.S. and dispersion of power. Meanwhile, Richard Haass, former State Department official who participated a lot in working out diplomacy and security policies of the Republican Party, made an analysis that the U.S.-dominated world structure has already lost its strength and the number of the countries aware of the U.S. when diplomatic policies are determined greatly decreased. Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a commentary in this regard. The commentary says: Such deploring voices among policy experts in the U.S. prove once again that the U.S. is being reduced to dregs of history. This is the sealed fate of the U.S. The sound of gunfire has never stopped on this planet since the U.S. made its blood-stained appearance in the world. The world is shaking with rage, witnessing the brutal infringement upon sovereignty and human rights abuses. Struggles for independence against the U.S. are going on in various parts of the world. The efforts of different countries are being increased to build a multipolar world to cope with the U.S. moves for a unipolar world. Meanwhile, the strength of the U.S. is now waning day by day. No matter how desperately the U.S. may roar, it is nothing but roar of a toothless wolf. The incarnation of all sorts of evil, the empire of devils, is bound to grow old and go to ruin. This is the law governing the historical development. The last-ditch efforts on the part of the U.S. can never change this law governing the historical development. |
