Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Federation of Koreans in the U.S. released a commentary on Dec. 16 to condemn the south Korean puppet forces for suppressing progressive media. The commentary recalled that the Seoul High Court made a decision on canceling the registration of Jaju Minbo, an internet paper of south Korea. Just are the activities of Jaju Minbo which has reported only truth for the peaceful reunification of Korea and for national reconciliation and cooperation against war since its foundation, it said. Jaju Minbo is known as conscientious media among overseas Koreans aspiring after the peaceful reunification of the country, it noted. Unreasonable is the decision made by the court to shut down Jaju Minbo, not conservative media that antagonize the north and foster confrontation and contradiction between the north and the south, it pointed out. Underscoring the need to ensure the activities of Jaju Minbo, it added: To try to ban the activities of progressive media is an act of opposing reunification. |
