On this day the Korean army and people are looking back with deep emotion upon the shining exploits Kim Jong Suk performed in the sacred history of Songun revolution.

She visited at least 320 units of the Korean People's Army till the last moments of her life after the liberation of the country, devoting herself to the work for developing the Korean revolutionary armed forces.

She paid deep attention to developing the Pyongyang Institute, the first military educational institution after liberation, into a pedigree establishment for training military and political workers boundlessly faithful to President Kim Il Sung in name and reality.

Learning about the work at the institute on Dec. 30, Juche 34 (1945), Kim Jong Suk stressed the need to display the portrait of Kim Il Sung at the venue of the inaugural ceremony of the institute and the slogan "Long live General Kim Il Sung, the sagacious leader of our nation!" with due respect.

She visited the institute, accompanying Kim Il Sung on the day of its opening, and told officials to orientate military education to holding fast to the revolutionary idea of the party and thoroughly embodying it under any circumstances.

When the immortal revolutionary hymn "Song of General Kim Il Sung" was created, she let cadets of the institute sing the song in grand chorus before any others, thus enshrining the image of the President as the sun in their minds.

She made sure that a statue of Kim Il Sung was erected at the Central Security Officers School and the commemorative medal for the graduates was significantly made.

Every thing ranging from glorious colors to uniforms, haversack, weapons, combat training and supply service is associated with her wisdom and efforts.

Her noble revolutionary life and exploits which will always remain shining along with the history of the founding of the Juche-oriented army powerfully inspire the army and people of the DPRK bringing about a new historical turning point in the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
