Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- On display at the International Friendship Exhibition House in the DPRK is a wooden sculpture "Eagle" presented to President Kim Il Sung by a delegation of the Warsaw Group for the Study of the Juche Idea from Poland in August Juche 94 (2005). At that time, the delegation was on a visit to the DPRK to attend the celebrations to mark the 60th anniversary of Korea's liberation from the Japanese colonial rule (August 15). The group, which had presented gifts to the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on several occasions, has propagated the Juche idea through its website. Seen on the lower part of the gift are English letters "Poland" with the national emblem of Poland above them. When conveying the gift to an official concerned, the head of the delegation said that the gift represents profound reverence for Kim Il Sung, the founder of the Juche idea who always lives in the hearts of the Polish people and other progressives of the world. |
