Among the audience were Kim Yong Nam and other leading officials of the party, state and army, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of the party, armed forces and power bodies, working people's organizations, the Cabinet, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces and working people in Pyongyang.

Present there on invitation were the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, overseas Koreans, foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations and military attaches of foreign embassies here and their wives.

Put on the stage were such numbers as chorus "General Kim Jong Il, Peerless Patriot", male trio "The General Is the Son of the Guerrillas", male solo and dance "Red Chol Pass" and women's large chorus "We Long for You".

The performers sang high praises of the proud course covered by the great Paektusan nation which has won victory after victory while going along the immutable orbit of independence, Songun and socialism, holding Kim Jong Il in high esteem at the helm of the revolutionary armed forces and glorifying the history and traditions of victory.

Female sextet "Arirang Resounded in Jiansanfeng" deepened the reverence for anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk who is always alive as the ray of the sun.

Also put on the stage were numbers reflecting the pride and optimism of the service personnel.
