The message said that the National Council of the Communist Party of India extended regards to Comrade Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the third anniversary of his demise.

It continued:

We will remember the feats performed by him for the strengthening of the Workers' Party of Korea and socialist construction in the DPRK.

His initiative for Korea's reunification enjoys absolute support from the international community.

We are recollecting the feats performed by him in the struggle for peace, democracy and social progress and against the imperialist forces and are convinced that the cause started by him will be successfully carried forward under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government.
