They laid floral baskets and bunches of flowers before the statues of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Suk and mosaics depicting her in Chongjin City and Hoeryong City of North Hamgyong Province, the Rangrim Revolutionary Battle Site of Jagang Province and the Sinpha Revolutionary Site of Ryanggang Province and paid tribute to them.

They toured her birthplace in Hoeryong on Dec. 23.

They held a meeting before starting for the birthplace before the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. And they looked round revolutionary sites in Chongjin City including lodging quarters of Haebang-dong, photo studio and house of revolutionary comrade-in arms.

They went to the birthplace at the foot of Osan Hill on Dec. 24 and looked round historic relics preserved in the historic house with good care, being briefed on the fact that Kim Jong Suk was born into a patriotic and revolutionary family and grew up to be a revolutionary.

They also went round Hoeryong Revolutionary Museum and Mangyang Ferry.

They held a meeting before the statue of Kim Jong Suk. They expressed the pledge of the Korean women in the Songun era to firmly carry forward the shining tradition of devotedly defending the leader provided by Kim Jong Suk and dynamically carry on the struggle for the bright future of the great Paektusan nation under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Officials and members of women's union in North Hamgyong Province went to the revolutionary battle sites in the Yonsa area.

Officials and members of the women's union in Jagang Province visited the Rangrim Revolutionary Battle Site, those in South Hamgyong Province the Sinhung Area Revolutionary Battle Site and those in Ryanggang Province the Sinpha Revolutionary Site.

They held diverse political and cultural events including a concert, meeting on greatness and a contest of singing revolutionary songs in chorus while marching in array.
