The statement branded the disbandment of the Unified Progressive Party (UPP) by the Park Geun Hye regime as an anachronistic and undemocratic action.

The "constitutional court" made the decision on disbanding the party, charging that progressive democracy set by the UPP as a programme was in violation of the "basic democratic order", the statement said, adding:

Just are the activities of the UPP to establish a democratic government in which toiling people would become masters, and to achieve independent and peaceful reunification.

It accused the "constitutional court" of labeling the activities conducted by the UPP as actions for overturning social system.

The recent decision was a tyrannical action tailored by the regime.

Saying one can hardly repress indignation at the recent crude violation of democracy, the statement stressed that the ill-fame the judges earned by taking the decision to please the regime will be always be recorded in the history of the violation of democracy.
