Kim Jong Il Praised by Egyptian, Syrian Personages

Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Egyptian and Syrian personages made public statements on Dec. 10 and 14 on the occasion of the third anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's demise. The chairman of the General Trade Union of Workers in Agriculture and Irrigation of Egypt said that Kim Jong Il made a great contribution to the development of the friendly relations between Egypt and the DPRK and the happiness and prosperity of the two peoples. He added that he would always remember the exploits of Kim Jong Il. Saber Ballul, head of the Department of the Political Faculty of the University of Damascus of Syria, said that Kim Jong Il performed the greatest exploits to go down in the history of mankind till the last moments of his life. He praised Kim Jong Il for publishing a great many works giving clear answers to all questions arising in the revolution and construction through his tireless ideological and theoretical activities. He went on: Thanks to the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il, the Korean People's Army developed into an invincible army capable of defeating any formidable enemies and the DPRK is displaying its dignity as a satellite manufacturer and launcher and a nuclear weapons state. He also developed the Workers' Party of Korea into the mother party forming a harmonious whole with the popular masses and serving them and an invincible party with an iron discipline and high fighting efficiency. Though he passed away, he is always alive in the hearts of the Korean people and all other progressives. |
