The statement accused the south Korean "constitutional court" of deciding for no clear reason on the dissolution of the Unified Progressive Party (UPP), carried away by prejudice, and Park Geun Hye of wholeheartedly "welcoming" it, terming the decision a "historical decision which firmly protected liberal democracy."

The UPP's case is giving strong shock to the overseas Koreans, the statement said, adding:

Park who seized power through power-backed fraudulent election disbanded even the political party which had been founded with the support of people.

"Great unity of people" touted by Park is no more than a unity of her group aimed to eliminate political parties opposed to her policy and to suppress the organizations and individuals desirous of national reconciliation and reunification after labeling them "followers of the north."

This brought to light the true colors of the dictatorial regime which inherited the "yusin" dictatorship as a legacy.

The statement appealed to the progressive political parties and social organizations of south Korea to positively turn out in the action for forcing the Park regime to step down and achieving democracy.
