Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the C.C., the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said Kim Jong Un's assumption of the supreme commandership of the KPA was a historic event of great significance in developing the Korean revolutionary armed forces and accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Songun.

The history of his Songun revolution records deep loving care and trust he has shown by projecting the youth league as vanguard ranks intensely loyal to the cause of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) by successfully carrying forward the politics of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on attaching importance to the youth and their love for the youth, they noted.

Under the warm care of Kim Jong Un the members of the young vanguard across the country are fully displaying their resourcefulness and courage on all fronts for the building of a thriving nation, they pointed out.

They called upon all officials of the youth league and its members to discharge their mission and duty as the reliable scout party and flank unit of the WPK in the on-going grandiose drive for winning the final victory under the Songun revolutionary leadership of the WPK.
