Park Geun Hye Branded as "Yusin" Dictator

Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- Park Geun Hye, who seized power on a fraudulent elections, has turned south Korea into a tundra of democracy as her father Park Chung-Hee, "yusin" dictator, did in the past. It can be clearly evidenced by the south Korean "constitutional court's" recent decision on disbanding the Unified Progressive Party (UPP), a legitimate democratic political party. It is a product of the Park-led conservatives who are calling for "liberal democracy". The south Korean press media describe the illegal disbandment of UPP as the ruin of democracy and restoration of dictatorship in south Korea. In this regard, Jong Hyok, a researcher of the Law Institute of the Academy of Social Sciences of the DPRK, told KCNA that the disbandment is tantamount to a political terrorism which can be seen only in south Korea where dictatorial forces stalk with the backing of the U.S. It reminds everyone of Hitler's "Reichstag fire case" in the 1930s. It is a political coup d'etat aimed at stamping out the progressive forces desirous of independence, democracy and peaceful reunification. Terming Park Geun Hye the director and superintendent of the coup, the south Korean press media noted that the "biggest feat" she performed during her two year-long stay in power is the "overall retreat from democracy" with the UPP disbandment as an occasion. Park, figured herself a bandog, revenged herself upon the UPP for campaigning against her during the "presidential election", which arouses much criticism even from the Amnesty International and other international human rights bodies. She is shameless enough to beautify the decision as a "historic one to safeguard liberal democracy in south Korea". The decision on the UPP disbandment only lays bare the political backwardness of south Korean society before the international community. Park Geun Hye is doomed to the fate of her father. |
