U.S. Ambition for World Domination Can Never Come True: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- The senator of the U.S. from the Republican Party who is supposed to chair the Armed Services Committee of the U.S. Senate from coming January, said to American media including the Los Angeles Times that there is no reason not to carry out a test of nuclear weapon as it serves as the groundwork of national security. He made nonsensical remarks that to steadily run an old machine is like to step on thin ice and that nobody can know how his car will operate without turning its key. John Hamre, president of the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, chimed in with him, saying he is doubtful of the confidence in the nuclear weapons as they are very old and that it is necessary to carry out a test by manufacturing a new nuclear warhead.

Rodong Sinmun Saturday says in an article in this regard:

Washington which cried out for building a "world without nuclear weapons" now underlines the necessity of carrying out a nuclear test. Lurking behind this is an aim to realize its strategy for world domination through an unchallenged nuclear upper-hand.

The U.S. brigandish theory is that it may possess nuclear weapons and conduct nuclear test as it pleases but other countries cannot have access to them as they may make an "intolerable" provocation threatening the world peace.

Based on this theory the U.S. is kicking up rackets while closely watching those countries seeking the development of nuclear energy for peaceful purpose.

The U.S. has often talked about "nuclear and missile threats" from the DPRK.

The present situation on the Korean Peninsula forces the DPRK to bolster up its nuclear force.

Denuclearization and stability of the world can never be achieved as long as there are the U.S. nuclear maniacs trying to realize at any cost the strategy for world domination on the basis of the unchallenged nuclear edge.

It is quite natural that the DPRK is bolstering up its nuclear deterrent for self-defence, given the persistent nuclear threat from the imperialists.
