Kim Jong Un made a speech before the awarding ceremony.

He gave congratulations to those honored with the party and state commendations at the building of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee amid the attention and envy of all sectors and units across the country.

He noted that officials and fishermen in the fishery field of the KPA have over-fulfilled the fishing task for this year, set by the party, despite rough sea conditions, only with belief in the party and true to its call for turning the sea of the socialist country into a golden fishing ground.

The fishing field of the KPA gave an ideological strike to the defeatists of weak faith who had complained of conditions, asserting that the sea of our country is not abundant in fish resources, he said.

And he set the fishing goal for next year to be hit by it and the tasks for fishery stations to build up their material and technical foundations.

He kindly asked to convey his wishes for happiness to all the officials and employees in the fishery field of the KPA and their families.

Army General Hyon Yong Chol, minister of the People's Armed Forces, read out a decree of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly on awarding the party and state commendations to the exemplary officials and merited logistic personnel in the fishery field of KPA.

Kim Jong Un personally conferred the commendations on the exemplary officials and merited logistic personnel.

Then, he had a photo session with the participants against the building of the WPK Central Committee.

Present there were Hwang Pyong So, Hyon Yong Chol, So Hong Chan, Pak Yong Sik, Ryom Chol Song, Jo Kyong Chol and other executive members of the KPA party committee and commanding officers of services and units of corps level of the KPA.
