Al Thawrah on Dec.17 in an article titled "People's Korea marks third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il" said the world progressives are praising him as a great man and prominent thinker and theoretician.

It lauded him as a peerless elder statesman who made great contributions to the global cause of independence.

He is always remembered by the Korean people and other world progressives for his great revolutionary idea and undying exploits, it said.

Al Nour on Dec. 17 carried an article titled "On occasion of third anniversary of demise of the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea".

Noting that the idea and theory of the great man serve as the immutable truth and banner of victory for the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people, it introduced the history of his leadership over the party.
