Demise Anniversary of Kim Jong Il Commemorated Abroad
Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- Events took place at DPRK missions in foreign countries on the occasion of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They included memorial meetings, Kimjongilia exhibitions, round-table talks, photo and book exhibitions and film shows in Nakhodka, Russia, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, France, Italy, Senegal, Libya and Peru from Dec. 13 to 17.

On display at the venues of the events were photos on the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed were their works, famous flower Kimjongilias and publications introducing Songun Korea.

Films shown included the Korean films "Reply of Korea" and "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation."

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and full-length painting depicting them and paid homage to them.

The vice mayor of Nakhodka said the undying exploits Kim Jong Il performed for the prosperity of the DPRK and the development of the Russia-DPRK relations would always be remembered by not only the Korean people but also the Russian people.

Indian personages lauded Kim Jong Il for formulating the Songun politics as the basic political mode under socialism.

A political assistant to the chairman of the People's Party of Pakistan praised him as the leader of not only the DPRK but also the world.

A director of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea said Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into a political and ideological power and a military power that no force dares provoke.

A political adviser to the president of Senegal spoke highly of Kim Jong Il, calling him not only the eternal leader of the Korean people but the greatest man praised by other progressives in the world.

The international secretary of the Communist Party of Peru (Red Motherland) said Kim Jong Il would always be remembered by not only the Korean people but also other people.
