Ho Pyong, who was born into a poor family in Kyonggi Province in Juche 3, (1914), lost his parents in his early years during the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule over Korea and was subject to all maltreatment and contempt as day laborer.

After the liberation of Korea he lived in south Korea, looking up to the northern half of Korea as a beacon of hope. He came over to the north during the strategic temporary retreat during the past Fatherland Liberation War.

He devoted his patriotic efforts to fruit farming to repay the benevolence of the Workers' Party of Korea even a bit.

After pension he continues working, having a balanced diet and leading an optimistic life.
