British Organizations Praises Kim Jong Il's Songun Leadership Feats

| Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a joint statement on Dec. 13 on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army (KPA). The statement said: Kim Jong Il's assumption of the KPA supreme commandership was a historic event of great significance in developing the revolutionary armed forces and accomplishing the socialist cause. He developed the KPA into the army of the leader by dint of the steel-like unity based on the Juche idea, Songun idea. His Songun revolutionary leadership brought about the great army-people unity. He is the great Songun brilliant commander and general of Mt. Paektu. He honorably defended Juche Korea, socialist fortress, resolutely smashing the moves of the U.S. imperialists and their followers to stifle Korean-style socialism. He pursued the Songun politics to put forward the KPA as the main force of the revolution and develop it into the army strong not only in the aspect of military strength but also in political and ideological aspects. We are recollecting with deep emotion the undying Songun feats of Kim Jong Il, invincible and iron-willed commander. The Songun revolutionary cause of the DPRK is being successfully carried forward by KPA Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un. The KPA led by him will always emerge victorious. |
