Congratulatory Message to Kim Jong Un from Palestinian President

Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, received a congratulatory message from Mahmoud Abbas, president of the State of Palestine and chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, on Dec. 24.

The message said:

It gives me pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations to Your Excellency on the occasion of the New Year 2015 on behalf of the state and people of Palestine and on my own behalf.

I sincerely wish Your Excellency good health and happiness and your people steady progress and prosperity.

I hope such happy occasions we will mark every year in the future will bring fair and comprehensive peace to this land so that peoples, the Palestinian people, in particular, will enjoy security, stability and good neighborliness.
